We draw upon five key search techniques to identify the widest range of potential candidates. Each is applied internationally where necessary, using our network of affiliate firms in other major world centres:
Research: Through a
combination of desk and online research, warm industry contacts and market mapping, we seek to identify as many people as possible who have appropriate experience and qualifications.
Sourcing: We network comprehensively among the colleagues, clients, suppliers and competitors of our target candidates. As well as adding new names to our list of potential candidates, this helps us to build a clearer picture of the experience and abilities of those identified by other means.
Press Advertising: In many cases, an eye catching, well written and correctly placed advertisement in the
national or specialist media will identify further candidates who cannot easily be found by other methods. This is particularly relevant where the pool of
potential candidates is large and diverse; where candidates are seeking to return to the UK from positions overseas; where talented aspirants
to a post are sought; and where individuals with strong relevant
experience from earlier in their careers have now moved into other roles. Our advertisements are concise, attractive and effective.
Website Advertising: Unless confidential, we advertise roles on our own website and on the pages of the leading national career sites, including The Telegraph and The Sunday Times, with no cost to the client. We will also identify any specialist sites that may be appropriate.
Database: Our partners have been senior recruiters in their specialist fields for many years. In these areas we maintain an extensive database of potential candidates.
